Exams!!!!

Wow. Can't believe how quickly things are going. It feels like it was only yesterday that we where starting the school year and now the exams are on top of us. Doing my second exam this Friday. It's for music.

The performance.

Can't believe how well our Drama production went! The costumes where great. So was the acting and we gave the assessor a run for her money.  Judging from Andreas's face( the guy in the Leather jacket)  he wasn't too happy about his costume but then again we where setting the play in a 1970s disco.

We were all stressed out by how quickly the day had come to perform, but we had plenty of preparation for the big day. Even a week later I still can stop thinking that it was the best thing we've done as a class.

The play had run from 7.00 pm and finished just before 8.00. This performance was for our parents, family and friends so it acted as a practise run before our assessed exam the following day. There where a couple of slip ups, one of them included a near accident involving a glass bottle but otherwise the only thing that was injured was a couple people's pride.

Our show finished with a bow to the audience, who all had a great laugh at seeing  teenagers performer so well. At 8 o'clock the set was replaced and the next show went on, this time it was Sparkle shark written by Philip Ridley and performed by the other 4th year drama class. Their show also went smoothly.

In the video you see one of the last scene of our performance. It feature Daniel and Lauryn playing Theseus and Hippolyta, Andrew and Natalia as Lysander and Hermia, Me and Taylor as Demetrius and Helena. Lastly we also have johnny playing Egeus.
